Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an AP Specialist for a public accounting firm serving businesses and individuals in the areas of tax, accounting, business accounting, business consulting, and business management. This is an exciting, direct hire opportunity located in Beverly Hills, CA!

As the AP Specialist, you will use your top-notch organizational skills to hit the ground running and handle all accounts payable and bookkeeping immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable in QuickBooks
• Prepare and distribute checks to vendors in a timely manner
• Generate monthly financial reports
• Generate monthly commission reports
• Review mail, email, and other communications for actionable items such as income checks, invoices, notices, etc.
• Review all AP for accuracy and proper approval
• Cash management of client accounts; process wire transfers
• Prepare and process wire transfers (CNB)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping for high net-worth/high-profile individuals
• Must be proficient in QB, QBO, Excel, Microsoft Word, Bill.com

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a brilliant and thriving team! The salary range for this role is $70k - $80k annually plus a comprehensive benefits package including 100% covered medical and dental, 401k, 2 weeks PTO and 3 days PSL. Additionally, you will be off on all major holidays.
