Scion Staffing is leading the search for a Middle School/High School Educational Advisor for our client, a local nonprofit organization with a mission to provide education and career resources to thrive! This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity working onsite in San Francisco, CA!

The ideal Educational Advisor candidate will be skilled in academic counseling, has proven experience in managing high-volume student caseloads, and shares a passion for higher-education learning initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the recruitment and admission process for the organization’s specialty tutoring and higher-education counseling program.
  • Provide academic counseling to students including developing individualized educational plans and tutoring.
  • Assist in coordinating events and field trips including career day visits, virtual information sessions, and educational visits to local organizations.
  • Manage student caseloads, ensuring all documentation is up to date and organized.
  • Assist in additional program administrative duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
  • Proven work experience engaging with diverse student populations in an academic counseling, tutoring, or youth mentorship capacity.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable in facilitating Zoom meetings and leading virtual lesson plans.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This exciting opportunity is offering an hourly rate of $24 with overtime eligibility, permanent, & full benefits in medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 403b retirement plans, discounted childcare, and more!
