Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Development Manager for a nationally recognized humanitarian nonprofit dedicated to supporting the lives of soldiers in Israel. This full-time position is hybrid, based in New York, NY, with engagement across Long Island communities
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Development Manager will play a critical role in driving fundraising growth and deepening donor engagement, with a focus on the Five Towns and Greater South Shore communities. This role collaborates closely with donors, board members, and the director to support development strategies, events, and campaigns. It’s a dynamic opportunity for a results-driven nonprofit fundraiser looking to make a real impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cultivate, steward, and grow relationships with new and existing donors, with a focus on high-capacity individuals in key Long Island communities.

Design and execute peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and chapter events.

Collaborate with board members to support donor outreach and stewardship efforts.

Utilize CRM systems to manage donor data, pipeline reports, and fundraising analytics.

Partner with the director to implement strategic fundraising initiatives.

Provide support for public presentations and community engagement efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in donor stewardship, campaign planning, and nonprofit event execution.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.

Deep familiarity with the South Shore Long Island community is strongly preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity offering an annual salary of $85,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience.
