Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Docket Clerk on behalf of our client, a trusted leader in legal support services. This full-time, temp-to-hire position is based onsite in Woodland Hills, CA, and offers an excellent opportunity to join a detail-oriented team that plays a vital role in legal case administration and compliance.
The ideal candidate is an organized and dependable legal operations professional with a sharp eye for detail, strong docketing knowledge, and the ability to manage critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and process legal documents, court filings, and notices from multiple jurisdictions.

Maintain accurate docket entries and manage internal records of case deadlines and legal timelines.

Monitor state, federal, and bankruptcy court dockets to track new activity and updates.

Collaborate with legal teams to ensure all filings are completed accurately and on time.

Generate reports, flag upcoming deadlines, and support case teams with calendaring and documentation.

Stay informed of court procedures and changes to filing rules or requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Prior experience in a docketing, legal assistant, or legal operations role.

Familiarity with state, federal, and bankruptcy court procedures is highly beneficial.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook and Excel); experience with docketing software strongly preferred.

Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a deadline-driven setting.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
This full-time, onsite, temp-to-hire position offers an hourly pay rate of $27–$30, depending on experience. Additionally, medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week. An employee retirement plan is also available!
