Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Tax & Compliance Operations Specialist – R&D to join a dynamic and innovative company known for its forward-thinking approach to business. This is a fully remote, full-time temporary position with the potential for extension through the end of the year and beyond.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this role, you will be part of a small, collaborative team focused on tax and compliance support within a specialized R&D environment. You’ll assist with payroll tax projects, ensuring accuracy in filings, reconciliations, and compliance processes. This position offers hands-on training and development opportunities in a fast-paced, supportive setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage corrections, amendments, and account reconciliations

• Follow established compliance procedures and assist with audits

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and escalate issues when needed

• Participate in training and onboarding activities to build expertise

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and GSuite tools

• Eagerness to contribute and follow established processes

• Comfortable asking questions and seeking help when needed
