Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Accountant to join a dynamic and growing organization based in Plano, TX. This full-time onsite position offers an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in GAAP and full-cycle accounting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative and accuracy are valued.
Key Responsibilities:

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations.

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of accounting data.

Support audits and compliance requirements through documentation and reporting.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the accounting function.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

2–3 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-
Self-motivated with a “go-getter” attitude and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)
