Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for Bookkeeper (part-time) for a patient-centered surgical practice. This role is onsite in Beverly Hills, CA.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our partner is seeking a detail-focused Bookkeeper to own day-to-day accounting and support a smooth month-end close. You’ll partner closely with the clinic concierge team and an external accounting firm to keep records accurate, timely, and audit-ready. This is an impact role for someone who enjoys organizing information, solving discrepancies, and collaborating across a caring, mission-driven clinic.

• Own accurate, timely entry of vendor bills, expenses, and payments in QuickBooks Online.
• Record and reconcile patient receipts, credit card transactions, and ACH deposits.
• Perform weekly bank and credit card reconciliations; maintain clean AP/AR aging.
• Organize receipts, invoices, and vendor records to support audit readiness.
• Prepare month-end schedules and deliverables for the external accounting partner.
• Partner with the clinic concierge/intake team to validate transaction data and resolve variances.

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or similar cloud accounting and comfort with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strength in AP/AR and reconciliations, with careful attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicates clearly with non-finance teammates, vendors, and external accountants.
• Thrives working independently in a clinic/startup environment while being highly collaborative.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a part-time, hourly position offering an hourly pay rate of $28-30/hour, commensurate with experience.
