Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Payroll Specialist for a client in the Bridgeport, CT area. This is a full-time, 100% onsite role.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Payroll Specialist will support the payroll team, ensuring accurate payroll processing and contract administration. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work closely with management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process payroll accurately and timely, including certified payroll and time entry

• Assist with ERP system management

• Organize documentation and assist with bid preparation

• Support month-end and weekly reporting tasks

• Respond to internal and external payroll inquiries as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in payroll processes and time entry

• Experience working within ERP systems 

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Hourly rate: $30/hr

• Opportunity for conversion to permanent employment
