Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Programs Manager for a mission-driven, community-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to education, outreach, and wellness initiatives. This is a remote role requiring residence in North Dakota, with regular travel across North and South Dakota and flexibility to support some evening and weekend volunteer engagement.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Programs Manager will lead the delivery and coordination of community-based programs across a multi-state region. This role partners closely with volunteers, local stakeholders, and leadership to expand program reach and impact. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with communities, facilitating programs, and building strong relationships to support meaningful outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and deliver in-person and virtual community programs across the region
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers to lead and expand program delivery
• Collaborate with local partners, vendors, and venues to execute events and initiatives
• Develop and manage program budgets and track related activities
• Contribute content for grant proposals, sponsorships, and program materials
• Support program communications and ensure resources are available at community events

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience supporting or leading programs, outreach, or community initiatives
• Strong public speaking, facilitation, or training experience
• Ability to engage, motivate, and support volunteers or community groups
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This role offers a salary range of $60,000–$65,000 annually.
