Scion Executive Search is seeking a Director of Executive Search Partnerships! This is an impactful position on our award-winning, growing national executive search team. This fully remote position (with hybrid in office work opportunities, depending on your preferences/location) will develop new client partnerships through outbound sales initiatives in the corporate, nonprofit, creative, media and professional executive industries! This role will reside and work in one of our core states; New York, Washington DC, Connecticut, Ohio, Texas, Minnesota, Colorado, Wisconsin, California, Arizona, Washington or Oregon.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bring passion and energy to an incredible team of professionals!
  • Work as a close partner to the Managing Director of National Partnerships, and also Managing Director of Scion Executive Search, to drive client and division growth.
  • Identify and secure new client relationships via phone, email, in-person meetings and other methods. This includes a combination of daily active cold-calling (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.), networking online/in-person, outreach and other activities to build relationships in the community! Get creative to make incredible connections for our team and our socially conscious company!
  • Obtain executive search clients and recruitment opportunities for our internal executive search division nationally and in our key markets. 3-5 new executive searches each month. 10-15 meaningful conversations with potential clients each week. 
  • Responsively and professionally impress inbound client leads and represent Scion Executive Search with excellence while building strong client relationship and partnerships.  
  • Enjoy the act of hunting and finding new business and meeting new people.
  • Follow-up with and engage current clients to build relationships, help ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Help to pass information gained via the partnerships process and set up searched for success through proactive communication and information sharing.
  • Meet and exceed minimum quota and billings for this position.
  • Plan new ideas and strategies to generate sales for the executive search division.
  • Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell other lines of business.
  • Provide top of the line customer service to our clients!
  • Be seen as a lead to your Partnership Development Manager colleagues and provide tips for further Business Development success.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Driven, ambitious, kind, team player who wants to help an amazing company grow and drive results and impact!
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B business development and sales.
  • Experience selling to executives and presenting to a nonprofit or corporate board! Confidence is KEY!
  • A passion for executive search and empowering client success through consultative recruitment and search.
  • A strong alignment with and devotion to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and commitment to advancing Scion Staffing’s mission and values; passionate about inspiring a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Drive to make the next phone call and email outreach even better than the last. Commitment to developing long lasting client relationships and staying top of mind.
  • Experience using LinkedIn and social media platforms for research.
  • High positive energy, self-motivated, outwardly motivating to others, excited about connecting and collaborating! Desire to help grow the business as your own!
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Coachability and an openness to constructive and specific feedback – you are eager to learn every day and pivot quickly towards progress!

  • A Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Positive professional attitude; honest and ethical with a team first perspective.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • A competitive base salary plus strong uncapped commission plan allowing you to meet you compensation goals:
    • Commission: successful performance in this role would be selling and bringing three to five+ new searches monthly from our extensive inbound leads and your outbound energy. This is very attainable with our current structure and brand awareness. For each executive search brought via inbound leads provides a commission on average of $800 to $2,000+ depending on the level. Out bound sales commission can double. This provides between $32,000 and $96,000+ in commissions. For high performers more can certainly also be made.
    • Base: In addition commission this position provides a base salary of $90,000 to $110,000+, DOE. Also your salary grows over time and through your success and growth as we provide annual reviews, annual raises, + career growth and continued training opportunities!
  • Team leadership and career growth potential.

  • Monthly cell phone and internet stipend that is equal to about $1,000 annually.
