Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Human Resource and Payroll Coordinator for our client, a family-owned construction business focused on providing high quality products and exceptional customer service! This is an exciting Full-Time, Direct-Hire opportunity located onsite in Maiden Rock, WI!

As the Human Resource and Payroll Coordinator, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and utilized your expertise to process bi-weekly payroll for 190 employees as well as provide a positive employee experience!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate the collection of payroll information from various sources, including TimeClock Plus and driver logs
• Process the bi-weekly payroll using Great Plains Dynamics
• Develop, recommend, and implement HR policies, programs, and procedures
• Prepare and maintain employee handbook and other policy documents. Answer manager and employee questions regarding policies and procedure
• Assist in the administration of company benefit programs to include medical, 401K and AFLAC
• Assist with insurance open enrollment and renewal annually.  This includes ensuring enrollment and termination
• Proactively collect information for certified payrolls
• Develop and maintain onboarding materials
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and all mandated reporting requirements, including the 941 and end of year EEOC reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-4 years of Human Resource experience
• 3-4 years of Payroll experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources is a plus!
