Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Direct Hire Grants Manager for an impactful nonprofit focused on the restoration and preservation of our coral reefs through innovative scientific research. This role is based out of Miami, Florida and is currently offered remotely, with plans to move to a hybrid schedule.
 
SUMMARY:
The Grants Manager will work under the supervision of the Operations Director to manage the organization’s grant portfolio through the grant lifecycle. The Grant Manager will lead and serve as project manager on the post-award management administration and enforcement of regulations.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor and manage grant progress to ensure project goals are met and communicate with all vendors and team members to ensure action items are completed on time.
  • Review and follow award notices to verify award accuracy and obligated fund balances.
  • Oversee and organize all grant filings and deliverables according to protocol.
  •  Search for grant administration platforms to streamline a scalable grant management process.
  • Assist in developing proposal budgets.
  • Monitor and analyze budget expense reports.
  • Maintain reports of grant portfolio calendars to maintain submission timelines,
  • Communicate with financial partners on all submissions of financial reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS Degree and 5+ years in grant proposal development and administration.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state grant regulations.
  • Budgeting and expenditure planning experience.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask while displaying accurate attention to detail.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
