Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Direct Hire Administrative Manager for an impactful nonprofit focused on the restoration and preservation of our coral reefs through innovative scientific research. This role is based out of Miami, Florida and is currently offered remotely, with plans to move to a hybrid schedule.
 
SUMMARY:
The Administrative Manager will work under the supervision of the Operations Director to provide support for all administrative operations.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in organization-wide strategic operations planning.
  • Implement organizational policies and operations strategy.
  • Participate and support fundraising efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintains all important documentation and filing.
  • Assist with grant proposals, submissions, reporting, and tracking.
  • Manages staff meeting minutes and documentation.
  • Assists in coordinating events.
  • Collaborates with accounting vendors to maintain the QuickBooks system and AR/AP.
  • Manages payroll reports and tracking.
  • Handles documentation for annual audit.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS Degree and 5+ years in nonprofit organizations.
  • Experience with grant administration.
  • Proficiency in G Suite, and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative working style.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This wonderful opportunity is hybrid remote and offers a salary of up to $65,000 annually depending on experience, plus an extensive benefits package that includes fully paid health insurance, generous vacation benefits, and exciting potential for advancement!
