Scion Staffing is seeking a fully remote Senior Director of Recruitment to join our dynamic team to work in and grow our expanding contract and permanent search divisions. This position is located remotely in the state of California. Overview 
The Senior Director of Recruitment is primarily responsible for the growth and success of the firm’s temporary workforce and direct hire service execution in the region(s) assigned. It is our aim to grow the firm both regionally and nationally. Therefore, regions may include the Senior Director’s state of residence and those in other states. The Senior Director will grow our firm’s business by leading, building, and further expanding additional teams, overseeing the execution of exceptional recruitment processes, and the team’s placement of administrative, finance, HR, marketing, operations, legal, fundraising, nonprofit, management, and other professional positions for our clientele. This strategic work will occur in close collaboration with our Managing Director, National Partnerships to ensure success in the region(s) and ongoing annual expansion. 


This leadership position requires exceptional hands-on recruiting prowess, account management skills, relationship building savvy, and the ability to employ innovative team-building strategies. This position also has exceptional room for professional growth as we scale our business in the region and into other states.

A Day in the Life of This Role 
  • Working with the CEO, Managing Director of National Partnerships, and Managing Director of Finance & Operations to help strategically drive growth and success in the region(s) and provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Learning and executing the proven Scion Staffing recruiting process, and strategically building teams in the assigned region(s).
  • Expanding our book of business in the area by providing exceptional recruiting services and customer service to Scion clients.
  • Helping guide and support the growth and success of your Scion Staffing assigned region(s) by employing wise financial planning, hiring execution, and strategic team leadership.
  • Hiring, training, motivating, mentoring, and driving the success of the recruiting team and function for Scion Staffing in the assigned region(s).
  • Employing servant leadership by teaching your recruiting team (recruiting coordinators, recruiters, and managers) how to be expert recruiters and recruiting managers, and the elements required to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Rolling up your sleeves and stepping in to help with sourcing, recruiting, and filling open roles when needed.
  • Helping to build a company and brand that is a leader in the industry and known for quality and socially conscious business practices driven by exceptional recruiting and customer service.

What You'll Bring 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent staffing/recruiting experience.
  • 7+ years in the staffing industry (staffing agency experience is required), plus at least 4 years of management experience leading staffing and/or recruiting functions; or minimum of four plus years with Scion Staffing in a similar capacity and growth trajectory with proven experience and proven history of strong successful teams and billings.
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced industry scaling and growing business, leading high performing teams, and hiring and developing successful recruiters.
  • Excellent written abilities and organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience working with previous Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards and online networking resources. Experience working with Bullhorn ATS is a plus.
