Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been searching for an Annual Fund Manager for our client, a wonderful nonprofit organization that enriches their community with the performing arts. This is an exciting Full-Time, Direct-Hire, mostly Remote opportunity located in San Francisco, CA! You will be working primarily remote but will need to go onsite 4 to 5 days per month for in-person meetings or events.

As the Annual Fund Manager, you will be responsible for meeting budgeted goals, focusing on strategically expanding the membership program, growing contributed revenue, and strengthening the donor pipeline. Your bountiful knowledge of development and building positive relationships within the community will help you succeed in supporting this organization and its mission! 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Accountable for the membership program’s annual fundraising goals, strategies and metrics, and participating in ongoing and regular assessment of progress toward these goals 
  • Solicit individual gifts and completing the necessary follow-up to advance the conversation and secure support to meet revenue goals 
  • Share prompt and meaningful gratitude with individual donors 
  • Develop and implement calendarized annual plan for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for the membership-level donor segment, balance broad-based and individual outreach, including identifying and implementing new approaches for engaging and recognizing this donor segment 
  • Plan and execute solicitations, stewardship, cultivation, and other communications to membership-level donors 
  • Manage projects such as annual fund campaigns, solicitation mailings, and stewardship and cultivation pieces 
  • Manage annual benefit fulfillment, ensuring donors receive accurate benefits in a timely fashion, including coordinating cross-departmentally and arranging signed posters, scripts, and other tangible deliverables 
  • Maintain membership management in Tessitura to ensure donors are credited and recognized at their respective giving levels 
  • Assume responsibility for donor recognition listings, ensuring accurate listings in all materials and publications 
  • Represent the organization at donor events, while assisting with some special event activities and interacting with donors

QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • 2+ years of Nonprofit Fundraising or Development experience 
  • Proficiency with CRM software 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: 


This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a brilliant and thriving team! The salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes Health, Dental, Retirement, 403(b), Employee Assistance Program, Pet Insurance, and Paid Time Off: 16 days and12 holidays.
