Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been searching for an Administrative Assistant for our client, a wonderful nonprofit organization that enriches their community with the performing arts. This is an exciting Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire opportunity located onsite in San Francisco, CA! You will be working Monday to Friday from 11am – 7pm.  

As the Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for the organization for both visitors and callers, serving as both a communication hub and a primary source of information. Your strong administrative skills along as well as your ability to build positive relationships will help you succeed in supporting this organization and its mission!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a welcoming and supportive in-person office environment
  • Address issues and concerns of staff onsite and route to appropriate place as needed
  • Basic tech support for equipment onsite (Zoom rooms, printers, copiers, etc.)
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and manage general delivery voicemails
  • Maintain and update front desk manual
  • Cross-train other staff for front desk coverage
  • Greet and orient visitors, students, patrons, vendors, and other constituents
  • Sort and disseminate incoming mail, invoices, payments, applications, etc.
  • Accept package deliveries, notify staff as needed
  • Keep all onsite schedules and posted information up to date (including monitor schedules, buildings hours, elevator signage, etc.)
  • Monitor postage machine balances / manage BRE accounts
  • Order office supplies and ensure basic supplies are fully stocked at all times
  • Support Operations and Facilities department with paperwork, processing payroll, and other administrative tasks

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. As a cautionary measure, the client is asking all workers to be fully vaccinated for COVID -19 by the date of hire. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a brilliant and thriving team! The pay range for this role is $20 - $22 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes Health, Dental, Retirement, 403(b), Employee Assistance Program, Pet Insurance, and Paid Time Off: 16 days and12 holidays.
