Scion Staffing is searching for a Sales Specialist (Account Manager) on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of bolts and fasteners in Northwest Portland, OR! This is a wonderful direct hire position that offers a full-time, onsite, opportunity to join a driven, goal-oriented team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Exemplify great customer service and account management skills.
  • Estimate the costs associated with manufacturing bolts.
  • Assign appropriate profit margins to estimates.
  • Selling bolts and fasteners primarily via the telephone to an established customer base made up of contractors, steel fabricators, and other construction-related companies.
  • Accurate order entry after sale is made.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Entry level experience.
  • Possess critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrate an ability to make quick decisions.
  • Willingness to learn bolt specifications, estimating procedures, and salesmanship skills.
  • Succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate fundamental math skills.
  • Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Conversationally fluent in Spanish is a plus.

COMPENSATION:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $55,000 a year plus commission, a 401(k) program with 25% company match, and fully paid medical and dental insurance for the employee and immediate family!
