Scion Nonprofit Staffing is searching for an Executive Assistant on behalf of an amazing impactful nonprofit organization that provides support services to those with developmental and other disabilities. This is an incredible, full-time, direct-hire opportunity that offers a hybrid work environment in Portland, OR.

Directly reporting to the CEO, this Executive Assistant will provide administrative support and executive assistance to the CEO and other assigned officers on occasion.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the CEO and occasionally other assigned officers.
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
  • Arranges travel and accommodation for executives.
  • Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of CEO, taking notes and recording minutes.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of CEO, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
  • Mentors reception staff to ensure efficient front desk operations
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by CEO.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in administrative support roles.
  • Previous experience and proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience with IDD population is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of current technology.
  • Background in project management is a plus.
  • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and reprioritize tasks depending on leadership needs.

This position with our client will require employees to be onsite weekly in Portland, OR. As a cautionary measure, our client is asking all employees to be fully vaccinated by the date of hire. COMPENSATION:
This position offers a competitive annual salary of $75,000 as well as a robust benefits package that includes 401K with 4% company match, dental and medical vision package, company paid term life insurance, optional short-term insurance, 8 paid holidays + birthday and floating day, 2 weeks sick leave and pay vacation separate pools and accrues more with tenure and EAP that offers 5 free mental health sessions!
