Scion Staffing has been engaged to lead the search for an experienced Media and Content Coordinator with my client, a national nonprofit independent news network located in Denver, CO. This is a hybrid Direct-Hire opportunity offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work with a truly impactful team!
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research the social justice programming marketplace, exploring programming partnerships, and evaluating long- and short-form content that reflects mission and values.
  • Cultivate relationships with content contributors, distributors, and filmmakers.
  • Maintain a database of contacts and programs, while monitoring program rights, requirements, payments, and licensing agreement dates.
  • Produce written analyses of reviewed programs and recommending acquisitions to the Program Director and Content Team.
  • Draft and negotiating license agreements.
  • Write content descriptions for multiple platforms and defining tagging metadata.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop program launch strategies.
  • Review submitted media files for quality control.
  • Assist in formatting incoming media; Ensuring the timely electronic delivery of media to master control and digital platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in journalism, storytelling, political/strategic communications and audience engagement across demographics, ideology and lived experience.
  •  2+ years working in a social media environment.
  • Familiarity of production and postproduction environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional planning and organization skills, with ability to manage multiple projects, to respond quickly to emerging opportunities, and to meet deadlines consistently.

COMPENSATION:
This opportunity offers a salary of $55,000-$60,000 annually depending on experience as well as comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, generous PTO, and paid holidays).
 

ABOUT OUR SEARCH FIRM:
Scion Nonprofit Staffing has launched an immediate search for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a healthcare facility servicing the elderly located in Pine Island, MN! Our partner is an incredibly impactful nonprofit committed to short-term as well as long-term care and support that includes respite care, assisted living, and rehabilitation services. This is a full-time, contract to hire opportunity!

Shifts available:
2nd shift: 2:15pm-10:45pm

What you’ll be doing:
  • Provide ongoing care and nursing services to clients, treating them with respect and dignity.
  • Assist residents with daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, transfers, and mobility.
  • Observe, record, and report any symptoms, reactions, and changes in a client’s condition.
  • Transport residents to and from units for meals and activities.
  • Record descriptive and accurate food and fluid intakes and report resident’s status at the end of the shift.
  • Answer calls and determine resident’s needs.
  • Maintain compliance with the Minnesota Department of Health regulations and
    OSHA guidelines. 

Job Requirements:
  • Current NA/R certification for Minnesota License is required and experience in long-term care settings preferred.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional health care services to individuals in the community!
  • Completed or enrolled in a state approved nursing assistant course.
  • Maintain current certification on Minnesota Registry by obtaining at least 12 hours of continuing education per year.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.

Compensation and Benefits:
In addition to joining a supportive team and contributing to an important mission, this position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $22.00 - $24.50/hr. as well as optional health, dental, vision and other benefits after 30 days of employment!
