Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct a search for a skilled Printed Circuit Board Designer for our client, an exciting organization that has been the leader in the underground mining business for over 25 years!
In this role, you will be responsible for designing new Printed Circuit Boards while maintaining existing ones. This is a full-time, direct-hire role, onsite based out of Fort Myers, FL!

In this role, you will be responsible for designing new Printed Circuit Boards while maintaining existing ones. This is a full-time, direct-hire role, onsite based out of Fort Myers, FL!

What you will be doing:
- Creating components for Pads PCB/Logic library components and the organization’s MRP system.
- Billing of materials input to the organization’s MRP and engineering change orders due to PCB updates.
- Obtaining quote packages from the organizations-approved PCB fabrication, assembly, and kitting facilities.
- Designing EE’s and interfacing with appropriate personnel in the Test department.
What you will need:
- Associate degree in a related field.
- 2-5 years of work experience as a Printed Circuit Board Designer or similar role.
- Proficient with Mentor PADS Power PCB tools.
- Knowledgeable of analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
- Experienced with high component density, voltage clearances, high-current traces, and multi-layer PCB designs.
