Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Civil Engineer for our client, a wonderful public works organization in the Northern Seattle Suburbs (Lake Forest Park – Kenmore- Bothell area)! You’ll join a long tenured team, and utilize your expertise on capital improvement projects, including project management, inspection coordination, design modification, and more! This is a full time, direct hire, onsite role.

- Compensation range is $93-143k, depending on experience.
What you will be doing:
- Provides studies, plans, specification, and cost estimates for capital improvement initiatives.
- Project management for assigned initiatives, including planning, vendor/consultant management, deadline and priority management, resource/budget management, and construction management.
- Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure that the needs of the community are met, and projects are delivered in a timely manner.
- Prepares and presents reports and project updates.
What you will need:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Senior level professional experience in civil engineering; wastewater collection/potable water supply experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in full life cycle project management and contractor management (design, operation, construction, and maintenance) of capital improvement projects.
- Experience preparing, reading, and interpreting drawings, specifications, and estimates; including legal descriptions and field survey information.
- Experience with relevant technologies including GIS mapping.
- Able to be onsite M-F
- Must be able to provide proof of covid vaccination.
- Current or eligible for Washington State Professional Civil Engineering registration
- Valid driver’s license
