Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for our client, a wonderful design and manufacturing organization in Kitsap County, Washington! This incredible career role focuses on continual improvement of lean manufacturing operations, ensuring reduction of delays and waste! Individuals who are inquisitive, curious, and excited about lean manufacturing are encouraged to apply! This full time position is for immediate hire, and works onsite in Washington State; relocation assistance is available.

Compensation range is $70-90k, depending on experience.
What you will be doing:
Review manufacturing procedures, processes, space requirements, equipment placement and workflow for maximum efficiency and productivity
Review new technology, equipment and lean manufacturing processes to ensure production is at maximum profitability; conduct feasibility studies and cost/time estimates
Ensure production team understands desired quality and efficiency criteria, measure output to manage success
Evaluate and resolve root causes of production delays and resource waste
Ensure equipment is being cared for to the manufacturer’s standards for maintenance and repair
What you will need:
BS in Engineering or 2+years of relevant technical experience
Experience with 3D CAD and other software (ERP systems)
Demonstrated experience analyzing, identifying, and implementing improvements to manufacturing/production floor processes
Experience with lean manufacturing (principles, tools, processes, best practices)
Experience researching, conceptualizing, introducing, implementing and integrating new technology, equipment and processes
