Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been retained to conduct a search for a part-time contract-to-hire Executive Assistant for our client, a Jewish faith-based nonprofit organization located in St. Louis Park, MN!

OVERVIEW
The Executive Assistant Assistant will support two senior clergy members and staff within the synagogue. If you are an administrative professional who is highly organized and enjoys providing a warm and welcoming presence to congregants, this is the role for you!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Coordinate and maintain leaders schedule and calendar including scheduling meetings, appointments, services, programs, events, classes, and hospital visits
  • Prioritize incoming and outgoing requests via email and phone calls
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Coordinate events
  • Ensure the office environment runs smoothly
  • Support a grade-level program through maintaining data, tracking progress, sending communications, preparing handouts and teaching materials, and scheduling meetings

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Administrative experience, preferably from a nonprofit setting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and CRM software.
  • Familiarity or knowledge around Judaism and/or Jewish culture preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality when needed.
  • Must pay great attention to details and be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure and in coordination with various departments.
  • Able to work efficiently independently as well as work effectively on a team.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, positive and proactive attitude; good judgement and be reliable.

This position with our Client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. As a cautionary measure, our Client is asking all employees to be fully vaccinated by the date of hire. COMPENSATION
This position offers pay of $25 - $27/hr. DOE, flexible hours, as well as health, dental, vision and other benefits! This position works on an amazing team and makes an incredible impact in the community!
