Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Administrative Practice Assistant (Psychiatric) for our client, a prestigious, research driven, behavioral health institution, dedicated to improving the lives of those with intimacy disorders just near Braintree, MA! This is a wonderful, hybrid, full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a dedicated, mission-driven team that provides non-court mandated, outpatient treatment and evaluation services!

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be working on a team of Mandated Reporters and have access to psychiatric medical records that are sensitive and at times challenging. You will also be communicating with offenders in the criminal justice system both in-person and electronically. It is important that you handle these tasks with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor in your interactions. Confidentiality is crucial in this role, and you will be expected to treat all information with the utmost respect and privacy.

Responsibilities:
  • Answers and directs departmental phone calls based on urgency.
  • Receives and distributes office mail.
  • Arranges travel and accommodation.
  • Edits manuscripts, formatting in different reference styles.
  • Find related journal articles
  • Schedules appointments and maintains the clinic calendar.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
  • Performs office tasks including maintaining patient records / charts, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field is required.
  • Desire to work in a behavioral clinic environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge of clinic administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.

This position with our Client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. Compensation:
This exciting direct-hire opportunity offers a salary of $55,000 to $60,000 annually as well as comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and paid sick leave)
