9:20am:<\/span> All staff (including local Portland) meet in the lobby of the Hilton Duniway to board busses. Do NOT be late the bus leaves at 9:30am SHARP.\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Busses will depart to take staff to The Kennedy School<\/a><\/span><\/strong> for a holiday movie and brunch!<\/h2>\n

1:45pm: Busses depart from Kennedy School to Ground Kontrol<\/h2>\n

2pm – 5pm: Video and Arcade Games and snacks at Ground Kontrol.<\/h2>\n

5:15pm: Bus picks up at Ground Kontrol to go back to the hotel.<\/h2>\n

6pm-11pm: Dinner and Casino night on the Broadway floor of the Hilton Duniway. Casino games end at 9:45\/10. Open bar till 11.<\/h2>\n

Below, you will find your code to cover your Lyft fair to and from your home airport as well as to and from the PDX airport. A few important notes about your code: please find the code associated with your airport and only use that code for any Lyft rides you need.<\/strong> We have a preset selected amount of funds for each code.   • For any staff that are not attending the holiday events in Portland, you are on a normal work schedule. You will be working your normal full schedule, we may also ask you to cover some things for us.<\/li>\n
  • For all Scion team members who are\u00a0attending and local in the Portland region, but not traveling a long distance<\/u> we are closing our desks at 3:30 pm on Thursday to allow for preparation time and travel time to get downtown. The event starts at 6 pm \u2013 see you there!<\/li>\n
  • For all staff who are attending, you are welcome to set an out-of-office alert if you wish. We ask that you don’t work while at the events \u2013 try to be present and enjoy the time!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Reminder & Notes About Our Events:<\/b><\/p>\n

    • If you are going to drink \u2013 don\u2019t drive. Take a Lyft.<\/li>\n
    • If you choose to drink alcohol please do so responsibly. Please be wise with your alcohol consumption \u2013 have fun but please be mindful. We will also have lots of non-alcohol options at our events.<\/li>\n
    • Please do not walk alone in downtown Portland at night. We prefer you take Lyft in general. All our evening events are in the hotel or very close by. Tell someone else if you are going anywhere so we know where you are.<\/li>\n
    • Please use your judgment as to attendance if you have Covid symptoms or are sick.<\/li>\n
    • Plan on attending all of our events scheduled to participate in our team building and celebrating in person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      For Out-of-Town Guests Flying In\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

      • We have a code for Lyft for you and your plus one to use to\/from our company events. When possible, rideshare with other Scion staff.<\/li>\n
      • If you have parking costs at the airport or took a Lyft to get to\/from the airport (from your home) you can expense it. We will need your receipt(s) and for you to fill out our expense form.<\/li>\n
      • If you are going somewhere that is not for a Scion event,<\/u>\u00a0we do not cover those Lyft costs.<\/li>\n
      • Meals and drinks are provided\/covered at all our scheduled company events for you and your plus one. Drinks, room service, or things purchased at the hotel such as in-room entertainment are not<\/u>\u00a0covered by Scion. You would need to pay for these directly. Thank you for your understanding.<\/li>\n
      • Valet\/Hotel tips would be your responsibility and are optional.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • If you are an out-of-town guest driving to Portland, we can also cover your mileage and parking or valet costs at the hotel for the event days. Expenesable mileage is from your home to the hotel and back. We will need your receipt(s)\/exact mileage from your home to the hotel and back. So please track it. Once you are in Portland, please take Lyft and use the code we set up.<\/li>\n
        • The hotel will allow you to put the parking or valet costs on your room and you should not have to pay as we have prearranged for this. You will have to provide the hotel with your car information.<\/li>\n
