Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Maintenance Tech on behalf of our amazing client, a property management and development firm in Issaquah, WA. This is an incredible Full-Time, Direct-Hire, and Onsite opportunity.

***Every 5 weeks, this position is assigned to be “on-call” on a rotating schedule for one week at a time (Friday morning to the following Friday). You must stay within cell phone range while conducting regular life duties when you are on-call.***

***The normal schedule is M-F 8am-430pm***

As the Maintenance Tech, you will report to the Facility Manager and perform routine repairs and maintenance of the facilities. You will utilize hand and power tools to perform electrical, carpentry, mechanical, HVAC, and/or plumbing repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Perform necessary maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, installing/repairing appliances, replacement of vinyl floors and carpet, caulking, general plumbing, replacing door and cabinet hardware, basic garage door repair, change key cores, and cut keys.
• Manage and respond to resident maintenance issues and repairs by communicating promptly and professionally.
• Provide demolition as well as clean-up and construction waste removal when needed.
• Inspect grounds, amenities, and buildings to ensure safety and cleanliness as well as report issues/opportunities to the Facilities and Property Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of Maintenance Tech experience.
• Valid Washington driver’s license. A company car is provided.
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Expertise in two or more areas including HVAC, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, roofing, countertops, electrical, plumbing, and/or operation of heavy equipment.
• Ability to reprioritize tasks in a busy, changing environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
