Scion Nonprofit Staffing, a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Project Management for immediate hire a long-standing nonprofit in Seattle, WA! This is a Direct Hire, Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote) opportunity.

As the Director of Project Management, you will report to the VP of Administration.  You will oversee the development and vision of the Project Management Office (PMO) alongside cross-functional leaders and stakeholders. You will manage two project managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the build-out of five identified ongoing projects. None of these projects involve IT implementation.
  • Present reports on milestones and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and update existing PMO policies and processes.
  • Assess obstacles in projects and utilize problem-solving skills to negotiate and mitigate barriers to maintain progress.
  • Implement operational initiatives clearly and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure objectives are aligned.
  • Facilitate meetings and craft presentations to discuss projects and deliverables.
  • Develop after-action reviews for projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of director-level Project Management experience, including managing project managers.
  • A degree in Project Management or related field is preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • 4+ years of Nonprofit Organization and/or Social Services experience.
  • Experience leading PMOs.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Proficiency with Asana.
  • Advanced skills in MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and management skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
