POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Regional/Divisional Human Resources Business Partner, the Human Resources Business Partner acts as a steward for the local organization, embodying the organization’s culture and core values, while implementing the HR strategy within the assigned Site. Responsibilities include: 

  • Assist with additional key local business projects and initiatives from a People perspective.
  • Drive and coordinate the application of the overall HR Agenda at the site, including implementing the yearly HR calendar.
    Implement HR guidelines and tools developed by the Center of Expertise and Service Delivery, ensuring they meet business needs. 
  • Ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations, offering expertise and guidance on personnel matters to business and Regional/global HR BPs according to local laws (e.g., disciplinary actions, terminations). 
  • Liaise with the Regional and Global Center of Expertise as appropriate. 
  • Work with Talent and Learning on strategic people matters such as workforce planning, leadership development, talent acquisition, organization design, change management, and succession planning. 
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on key recruitment initiatives and employer branding. 
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to define future training and development needs and provide training to the business sites offered by HORIZON catalogue. 
  • Provide staffing solutions for local profiles, including temporary staff, by partnering with efficient temporary work agencies and leveraging the support of Service Delivery. 
  • Use HR KPIs to understand the level of service offered to the business and drive applicable actions. 
  • Act as the employee advocate and change agent, handling conflicts, fostering understanding, advancing ideas, and inspiring trust. 
  • Be heavily involved in benefits administration activities that require local presence and knowledge. 
  • Act as the coordinator of all networking activities within their country for topics, processes, and initiatives of interest for all sites. 
  • Ensure a consistent approach to Industrial Relations in the country across sites and manage country-wide employee forums and representatives. 
  • Define the process relating to the benefits applicable in the country and monitor their execution. 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to Human Resources Management, Organizational Studies, or Business Management/Administration. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on HR policies and trends, preferably as an HRBP in a manufacturing plant. 
  • Strong business acumen, including knowledge of products and production dynamics. 
  • Extensive expertise in legal and labor relations, as well as complex administrative, tax, and compliance issues. 
  • Excellent communication skills and personal effectiveness. 
  • Ability to act as a business advisor, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving. 

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

In addition to offering a competitive base salary of $120,000, the benefits package includes a 401k & Retirement Savings plan, vacation, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, pet insurance, wellness plan, and generous paid maternity/paternity leave.
