Scion Nonprofit has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager for our client, a wonderful Nonprofit organization that advances the cause of international sustainable energy use! Based in San Francisco, the Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role in the Communications department. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and experienced in implementing strategic public relations and communications! This is a full time, direct hire role, hybrid role- 3x onsite in Presidio area, 2 remote.

  • Compensation range is $80-90k, depending on experience

What you will be doing:
  • Design and execute integrated marketing plans the program, including multiple events and conferences
  • Implement marketing strategies that increase participation in events (conferences, webinars, etc)
  • Coordinate graphic design projects for event materials and websites
  • Oversee and manage contractors working on events platforms, graphic design, and web development
  • Utilize design skills to create custom graphics with Adobe and Canva
  • Administer web platforms (WordPress, Squarespace) and make HTML and CSS code updates as necessary
  • Plan marketing calendar in advance, up to 12 months
  • Ensure promotional partnerships are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage vendors and budgets for digital and promotional materials projects

What you will need:
  • 5+ years experience in Communications/Marketing
  • Hands on expertise in technical tools- Adobe, Canva, HTML, CSS; Website CMS (Drupal, Squarespace, WordPress, etc), events management software, mail software like Mailchimp
  • Demonstrated project management experience, communicating cross functionally with different departments to hit initiative deadlines
  • Comfortable in a small team, fast paced environment with the ability to pivot priorities quickly
  • Experience managing/directing team members or contractors
