Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a highly experienced Senior IT Manager for our client, a highly esteemed nonprofit organization that serves as a link to promoting Public Safety and Education based out of Golden, CO.

As a Senior IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our client's IT operations and infrastructure to ensure the seamless functioning of their technological ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial skills, a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, and a passion for mentoring and developing IT professionals.

What you will be doing:
  • Providing leadership and management to the IT team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Overseeing day-to-day IT operations, including desktop support, infrastructure management, engineering, phone system support, cyber security, and more.
  • Mentoring and developing IT team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Driving technology projects and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize IT systems and processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in IT performance management and network administration.
  • Staying up-to-date with technology advancements and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, operations management, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven experience as an IT Manager or similar managerial-level role in IT operations, with Call Center experience preferred.
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to mentor and develop IT professionals.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, including server technology, call center software, and networking.
  • Proficiency in management software programs such as JIRA or Zendesk.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management and CRM integration/data transfers.
  • Strong SQL Server experience is a must-have.
