Responsibilities

Develop and execute a digital content and social media strategy in alignment with organizational goals

Create engaging social media posts and digital content to promote key messages and policy recommendations

Produce short videos and podcasts to enhance social media engagement and storytelling efforts

Collaborate with the communications team and policy analysts to develop and implement a comprehensive digital content and social media strategy

Compose social media posts capturing key messages, big ideas, and policy recommendations

Monitor trending tech policy issues and expand the organization's social media following

Compile and disseminate the organization's weekly email newsletter

Track digital communications performance metrics and provide regular reports
Qualifications

Digital and Social Media Proficiency: Demonstrated understanding of digital and social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Creativity and Visual Storytelling: Ability to conceptualize and create compelling visual and written content that resonates with the target audience.

Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills: Proficiency in developing and executing digital content and social media strategies aligned with organizational goals, coupled with the ability to analyze data and metrics to optimize performance.

Previous professional experience in issue-based communications or advocacy

Strong writing and copyediting skills

Experience using graphic design platforms such as Canva

Ability to handle multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team setting

Previous experience engaging with public policy issues preferred
Compensation
This opportunity offers a starting annual salary of $80,000 plus full benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA, retirement, generous paid vacation, annual performance-based bonus, public transportation benefit and more!
