RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily school operations, overseeing main office management, transportation protocols, and communication with parents, students, and visitors.
- Manage facilities maintenance, janitorial services, nutrition, and inventory/supply management.
- Develop and implement systems for clear and accessible communication with families, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure teachers have necessary equipment and optimal classroom environments.
- Coordinate operational aspects of school events, including setup.
- Ensure timely completion of operational tasks to close out the school year successfully.
- Support Leadership Team in strategic communication with staff and parents.
- Collaborate across departments to establish realistic operational targets.
- Document processes, monitor progress, and prepare status reports.
- Report to Chief Operating Officer and contribute as a member of the Operations Team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in management science, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in operations within a similar industry
- Demonstrated expertise in operational improvement methodologies
- Proficient in utilizing data analysis tools and organizational management software
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and effective communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism initiatives
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Previous management experience preferred.
