Scion Nonprofit Staffing is searching for a Corporate Partnerships Consultant to join an impactful nonprofit organization specializing in real estate trends and creating best practices for equitable and sustainable land use! This position is contract to hire, full time, and fully remote, but Washington D.C. local candidates are preferred.  

OVERVIEW
This role works closely with the Senior Vice President for Corporate Partnerships & Strategy and is responsible for all elements of corporate fundraising while assisting with the alignment of core initiatives. The ideal candidate will offer comprehensive account management, negotiating, fulfilling, and supporting long-term engagements.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet goals, cultivate a strong partner base through collaborative account management, and enhance corporate engagement with strategic priorities.
  • Prepare and track proposals and quarterly reports to monitor all corporate donor activities and progress against targets.
  • Maintain close relationships with corporate partners, acting as a dedicated brand ambassador to ensure commitments are fulfilled and expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Engage in direct fundraising tasks, including prospect research, sales calls, and face-to-face meetings, and developing and writing proposals to achieve revenue goals. 
  • Build and manage a ten-figure annual sales budget across multiple business line items to achieve revenue targets for the Institute.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Track record of securing substantial investments from corporations and/or foundations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement institutional partnership strategies that sustainably increase revenue for an organization.
  • Ability to analyze, conceptualize, and describe funding needs in a way that is compelling to potential donors, strategic partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to develop and execute plans efficiently and effectively and to develop, manage, and track an annual management process.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communications, with a track record of writing compelling and successful proposals.
  • Experience communicating with senior-level executives.
  • Executive presence and comfort with public speaking.
  • Extensive experience with account management/business development in the public or private sector.
  • Extensive leadership experience.
  • Experience in and/or understanding of commercial real estate/issues of land use/universe of the built environment is useful but not required.
  • Occasional travel.

COMPENSATION 
This position offers an hourly range of $38-45/hr. DOE with medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week. An employee retirement plan is also available.
