Scion Medical Staffing is searching for an X-Ray Technologist on behalf of our client, an incredible medical imaging provider, that is fueling innovation at the forefront of healthcare's evolution and changing the game for clients. This is a wonderful full-time, onsite, direct-hire position that will give you an opportunity master your skills alongside board-certified subspecialty RAD rockstars in Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding area.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Fantastic pay between $26-$40 per hour

WHAT YOU'll DO:
-
Arrange patients for radiological and/or DEXA exams.
-
Capture radiographs to assist in diagnosing medical conditions while minimizing radiation exposure.

Possess familiarity with common practices and procedures in the field.

Set up and operate diagnostic equipment for various exams, adhering to guidelines.
-
Perform duties following established protocols under close supervision.

Demonstrate flexibility and initiative within prescribed boundaries.
-
Exhibit proficiency in job-related skills and provide excellent customer service.
-
Maintain a safe environment by operating equipment effectively.
-
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
-
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public, fostering positive relationships.
-
Have knowledge of CT procedures, including starting IVs when necessary.
-
Assist technologists with patient preparation and exam procedures.
-
Learn CT procedures through observation and training courses.
-
Enroll in the Pulse Radiology CT Cross-Training course within a year of employment.

Be willing to relocate to different sites as needed to complete required CT procedures.

Obtain CT Registry certification within two years of employment.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
-
Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program in AMA approved school.

Requires registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
-
Requires registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State

Valid CPR certification
