The Senior Director of Growth Marketing combines the skills of a traditional marketer with the mindset of a growth hacker. They are responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns aimed at driving user growth, engagement, and conversions. This may involve a combination of SEO, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and experimentation with growth hacking tactics. You will bring your strategic leadership, marketing expertise, and focus on driving growth. This exempt position is 100% remote and for immediate hire in the state of AZ, CA, CO, OR, or WA (working PT hours).

Key Projects and Responsibilities
  • Brand Building: Establish and cultivate the brand identity of the PWA across various digital channels. This includes ensuring consistent messaging, visual branding, and tone of voice across all marketing materials.
  • User Acquisition: Implement tactics to attract new users to the PWA. This may involve utilizing various channels such as social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Conversion Optimization: Continuously optimize the user journey within the PWA to maximize conversions. This could involve A/B testing, user experience (UX) improvements, and analyzing user behavior to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Retention Strategies: Develop and execute strategies to retain existing users and encourage repeat usage of the PWA. This might include personalized messaging, loyalty programs, and ongoing communication to keep users engaged.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Use data insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify opportunities for partnerships or collaborations that can help expand the reach of the PWA and attract new users. This could involve working with influencers, industry associations, or complementary businesses.
  • Customer Support and Feedback: Act as a liaison between users and the development team, gathering feedback and insights from users to inform product improvements. Provide timely support and assistance to users as needed.
  • Staying Current with Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, as well as advancements in technology related to PWAs, to ensure the marketing strategy remains innovative and competitive.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Has 10+ years of professional experience in this space, has core eMarketing skills and knows how to test markets. Experience with a start-up company and knows technology!
  • Has a highly analytical and results-oriented mindset, constantly seeking ways to achieve rapid and scalable growth by leveraging data and insights.
  • Analytics Tools: Proficiency in using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Dynamics is essential for tracking key metrics, analyzing user behavior, and deriving actionable insights to inform growth strategies.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Strong skills in data analysis, including the ability to manipulate and interpret data sets using tools like Excel, SQL, or Python, or other tools valuable for uncovering trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
  • Marketing Automation Platforms: Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot to facilitate the automation of marketing campaigns, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation. Understand how to use tools such as Hubspot to tailor emarketing campaigns to nurture users both talent and employers. Using HubSpot or another technology to, conducting A/B testing, and creating digital marketing campaigns are key responsibilities.
    • Lead Management: Managing leads and contacts within the HubSpot CRM, including segmentation, lead scoring, and lead nurturing workflows.
    • Email Marketing: Creating and managing email campaigns, designing email templates, scheduling email sends, and analyzing email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
    • Marketing Automation: Setting up marketing automation workflows for lead nurturing, customer onboarding, and re-engagement campaigns.
    • Content Management: Publishing and managing blog posts, landing pages, and other website content through the HubSpot CMS.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing data within HubSpot to track the performance of marketing campaigns, measure ROI, and identify areas for optimization.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Knowledge of WordPress for managing and optimizing content marketing initiatives, including website optimization and blogging.
  • Amazon web services experience and MongoDB would be a plus.
  • Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Tools, Basic Web Development Skills.
  • You are a hard worker, have the ability to lead a team (later), and excited to mentor staff.

  • This position offers a salary between $135,000 – $175,000, DOE.
