Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization in Washington, D.C.! This is a wonderful remote, 4-week contract opportunity to join an inspiring as well as mission-driven team!

What you’ll be doing:
-Process, verify, and reconcile invoices for goods and services.
-Collaborate with procurement and receive departments to confirm the accuracy of invoice data.
-Handle the setup of new vendor accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
-Execute timely payment of all vendor invoices and expense vouchers.
-Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all payment transactions.
-Address and resolve any discrepancies in billing with vendors.
-Prepare monthly reports on accounts payable status and periodic analyses of payable accounts.
-Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
-Assist with month-end closing procedures and support external audit processes.
-Utilize accounting software to input and manage financial data.

What you need to be successful:
-Experience with Bill.com and Sage software

Compensation:
