Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced remote IT Project Manager for our client, a wonderful mediacentric services organization! In this role, you’ll utilize your expertise at leading technical digital transformation/cloud projects in multiple industries including the government; ensuring a high standard of customer service while ensuring deadlines are met! As most of the client base is on the East Coast, candidates from eastern time zone are preferred. This is a full time, direct hire, remote role. Candidates must have secret clearance to be considered.

  • Compensation range is $120-130k, depending on experience

What you will be doing:
  • Manage IT projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget from design to development to production
  • Project planning, resource allocation and coordination, risk assessment and management; adjusting work plans as needs change
  • Lead client facing weekly status meetings; update progress, report on deliverables, identifying approaches to mitigate risk, and change requests
  • Successfully deliver deployment projects as assigned

What you will need:
  • 5+ years experience managing complex IT projects
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud migration/modernization project management; Azure project experience preferred
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, management, information technology, or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting and motivating a remote IT team to positive results
  • PMP or PMI certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with MS Office tools and Jira
