Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Sales Support Specialist (Order Management) on behalf of our client, a well-established telecom solutions company. This is an exciting full-time opportunity offered on a hybrid structure in Hillsboro, OR.
 
In this role, you'll manage a variety of customer accounts, handling sales orders and providing essential support. If you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and enjoy a dynamic work environment, we'd love to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the primary company representative, managing all aspects of the relationship and ensuring overall satisfaction for designated customer accounts.
  • Process purchase orders from customers, coordinate manufacturing supply changes, manage customer demands, and adjust backlog revisions as needed.
  • Collaborate with planning (OPS), AR, logistics, sales, customer program managers, contract manufacturers, and other departments to gather information or resolve customer issues, ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Address general inquiries, advocate for customer needs, solve problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support the Customer Account Management team by assisting and providing backup as needed.
  • Work with the team to enhance processes and controls by implementing automation and improving efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Order Entry, Customer Support, or a similar role.
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP order entry experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce.com is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams.
  • Proficiency in PC tools for word processing, email, and Excel, with an understanding of a typical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage timelines, and maintain excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working with a global team and managing multiple time zones.
  • Positively contributes to the success of the team.
 
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
