Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Construction Project Manager (Industrial) on behalf of our client, an established national construction firm that provides a full-service approach to their clients and stakeholders! This is a wonderful, full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a dedicated and experienced team located in Moore, SC!

The Construction Project Manager (Industrial) will coordinate, manage, and oversee all activities that pertain to various industrial construction projects from start to finish communicating across various channels such as customers, designers, subcontractors, and engineers to support the decision making process of the project team.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project execution to meet contract requirements, design specifications, budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with designers and engineers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain project budget, cost controls, accounting records, and work plans.
  • Manage change orders and estimating/scheduling processes.
  • Facilitate communication between engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Incorporate feedback and requirements into project plans and execution.
  • Develop document control plans for engineering, inventory, procurement, and resources.
  • Regularly communicate project status to the team and client.
  • Define work sequences for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Oversee execution planning and work procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues related to work procedures, construction, or design.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and codes on the jobsite.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality project within budget and on schedule.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated professional experience in industrial construction projects ensuring strong attention to detail and polished problem solving as well as communication skills.
  • Success with working with manufacturing customers in various settings with a preference for experience in chemical and material manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specification including P&IDs, flow diagrams, and process data sheets while identifying discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
  • Exposure to engineering and construction drawings, data sheets, specifications, and the approval processes.
  • Working experience in process construction, specifically in equipment installation, process piping, process mechanical, E&I, and utilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of industrial building projects such as civil, concrete, steel, MEP, and FP is preferred.
  • A desire to contribute to a small-firm culture in the construction engineering field.

Compensation:
This exciting direct-hire opportunity 
offers a salary range between $90,000 to $110,000 annually as well as comprehensive benefits
