Scion Nonprofit Staffing, an award-winning full-service staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Controller with a CPA (active or inactive) on behalf of our client, a nonprofit research institution dedicated to propelling research that improves human health. This is a high-growth model, a vibrant and diverse community and a disruptive technology. This full-time hybrid role is based in Boston, MA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in a collaborative team and be responsible for the effective fiscal management of the organization. This includes financial reporting, strategic planning, general accounting, budget and forecast projections, and cash management. You will be a key leadership team member, working closely with the CFO, directing day-to-day accounting activities, reporting processes, and financial operations, and maintaining effective controls and accounting standards.

In addition to a salary of $180-200k, this opportunity offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% paid health, dental, vision, HRA, paid life insurance 2x base salary, up to $250k, FSA, paid time off, paid sick leave, paid holidays, and a 401k plan with employer contributions up to 6% with immediate vesting.
This is a hybrid role, on-site 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week.
