Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Interim Controller for our client, one of Washington's largest nonprofit social services providers. This is an exciting hybrid, 3-5 month opportunity located in Tacoma, WA!
As the Interim Controller you will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer to prepare for the annual audit.

As the Interim Controller you will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer to prepare for the annual audit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize Sage 100 software to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
- Prepare financial records and documentation to meet audit standards, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
- Adhere to audit timelines and prepare audit schedules to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Excel in reconciliations, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with nonprofit audits, including advanced proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger oversight.
- Expertise in preparing schedules for audits, demonstrating thoroughness and adherence to audit requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with accounting teams and internal agencies.
- Work closely with Clifton Larson Allen, the audit firm, to facilitate a seamless audit process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of audit preparation experience
- NP 990 Audit experience preferred
- Expertise with Sage 100 software
- Expertise with balance sheet reconciliations
- Expertise with general ledger management
