Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Office Manager at an established, venture firm that invests in up-and-coming Fintech founders and technologies. This is a full-time, 3 -month temporary opportunity based in Union Square San Francisco that offers an on-site work environment with a driven and passionate team.

As the Office Manager, you will report to the Chief of Staff in support of their program launch and act as the main point of contact for the firm, upholding a positive presence while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations for all members, staff, program guests/speakers, and more!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, address inquiries, and ensure a smooth and inviting experience from start to finish.
  • Oversee office space usage/cleanliness, supplies, and food/beverage needs for staff, guests, and program speakers.
  • Manage conference room reservations, catering orders, office cleaning, technology support, maintenance communications, and plant care.
  • Organize guest speaker events and office hour bookings, including calendar management, setup/cleanup, guest relations, and technology support.
  • Develop checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and implement improvements to enhance office efficiency and functionality.
  • Provide dedicated support to the Chief of Staff before and during event launch which includes but is not limited to sourcing and communicating with vendors, organizing event materials, set up and take down of the event, and multi-tasking throughout event duration to ensure success.
     
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated experience holding a professional title in Office Management, Administration, Executive Administration, and/or Facility Management.
  • Success with ensuring fluid office operations acting as the point of contact for all inquiries, and event management experience is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in computer systems with a preference for MacBook and iPad products.
  • Experience with software like Slack, Zoom, Google Calendar, and Notion is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across internal and external teams using high attention to detail.
  • Passion to work collaboratively with a driven team and independently.
  • Act as a driven self-starter who enjoys improving upon SOPs and the overall company/program.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This career opportunity provides a starting hourly pay of $38.00 to $42.00 DOE, plus medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
