Scion Staffing is conducting an immediate search for a Contracts Administrator for our client, a construction company specializing in residential remodels for high-end homes based in Burlingame, CA. This is a wonderful full-time, on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity. 

The Contracts Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring our projects run smoothly and efficiently. You'll manage all aspects of project documentation, including budgets, documentation control, contract changes, and project accounting functions such as processing AP and billing. Your efforts will keep project information accurate and up-to-date, providing essential data for both project teams and company management. As a key link between Estimating, Production, and Finance, you'll help drive success forward!

  • Hourly rate of $38-43/hr. paid weekly!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up new projects and maintain existing ones in our software system
  • Wrap up projects efficiently as needed
  • Manage all contract administration and documentation, including customer contracts, change orders, subcontracts, vendor insurance, and compliance
  • Handle all project accounting tasks, such as budget management, system monitoring, expense tracking, vendor payments, client billing, and reconciliations
  • Create and update procedures for the role, including flowcharts, written documentation, and templates
  • Organize, schedule, and prepare for project meetings
  • Coordinate and share project information to keep the team informed and supported
  • Provide support to the Project Team and Production as needed
  • Assist the Office Admin with various office tasks as required
  • Support the Controller with general accounting and administrative duties when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Accountant/Contracts Administrator or similar position/experience
  • Some construction industry knowledge preferred
  • Intermediate software skills as well as Internet research abilities
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Corecon, Timberline, Viewpoint, and Quickbooks
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices preferred
  • Strong reading comprehensive & analytical skills
  • Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
This wonderful opportunity offers the ability to make a significant impact in the local community as well as an hourly rate of $38-43/hr. depending on experience.
