Scion Staffing is conducting an immediate search for a Property Manager on behalf of a privately owned property management company located in Framingham, MA! This is an exciting permanent hire opportunity offering a full-time onsite work schedule.
PERK:
- Temporary assignment with potential to convert to a permanent position!
- Full time, Monday-Friday 10-6 pm, onsite work schedule!
- Hourly rate of 35-38/hr. plus a long list of robust benefits!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the main contact for office management tasks, including handling phone calls, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, addressing maintenance requests, and overseeing mailing, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments and expense control by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
- Allocate expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice and expense reports and recording entries.
- Handle vendor payments by taking advantage of discount opportunities, verifying federal ID numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving any discrepancies in purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments. Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos and issue stop-payments or amend purchase orders as needed.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Schedule appointments with vendors as needed.
- Organize and streamline office operations and procedures.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with office vendors and service providers.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Provide general support and assistance to visitors.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in property management or Apartment Industry
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Practical experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
This wonderful opportunity offers the ability to make a significant impact by leading leasing sales for an established property management company. The company offers an hourly rate of $35-38/hr. (DOE). If converted to a permanent employee, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
