Scion Nonprofit Staffing, a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a TikTok Social Media Manager for a global nonprofit Jewish advocacy group. This is a wonderful full-time, direct-hire, fully remote opportunity!
 

This role does not drive traffic for sales or business, it's a forum for global human rights issues, diplomatic affairs and advocacy. You must have Social Media experience within a nonprofit that meets this requirement.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and execute the launch of the organization’s TikTok platform.
  • Have a strong understanding of current events that impact the Jewish Community. This includes politics, human rights, and religious issues and conflicts.
  • Collaborate with the social media team, senior leadership, and the Leadership Department to develop a TikTok strategy.
  • Create and curate engaging TikTok content, including videos, captions, and hashtags.
  • Monitor trending news and social media topics, coordinating the organization's response with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Leadership Department to generate content ideas for a young audience.
  • Support college students and young leaders in their TikTok content creation.
  • Optimize TikTok content for other platforms.
  • Maintain a TikTok content calendar for consistent posting.
  • Coordinate with issue experts and the content creation team on messaging and content repurposing.
  • Stay updated on TikTok algorithm changes and best practices to enhance organic reach.
  • Build relationships with TikTok creators and influencers to explore partnership opportunities.
  • Manage user interactions on TikTok.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years of experience in TikTok social media video production, and creation within a nonprofit for global human rights, advocacy, or diplomacy required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or a similar field required.
  • Flexible work approach, with availability to work evenings and weekends to address breaking developments and news that impacts the organization.
  • Have experience working remotely effectively.
  • Comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a brilliant and thriving team! The salary range for this role is between $65,000-$85,000yr depending on location, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, PTO, 403(b) participation, and an amazing number of Paid Holidays.
