Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Nonprofit Administrative Assistant (Education) on behalf of our client, a prestigious early childhood institute that curates a holistic approach to education by fostering inclusive environments to achieve personal and academic success! This is a wonderful, full-time, direct-hire opportunity to join an energetic and mission-driven team in Yuma, AZ!

The Nonprofit Administrative Assistant will directly support the CEO by providing a high level of administrative support through managing tasks, overseeing projects, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO.
  • Manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, and meetings while solving conflicts and prioritizing commitments
  • Prepare agendas, attend meetings, and take minutes.
  • Accurately submit reimbursements for travel, meetings, etc., and generate expense reports as requested.
  • Serve as the primary communication liaison internally and externally.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of correspondence.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports while staying up to date on industry trends and educational developments.
  • Proactively address issues and solve problems.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Prioritize and organize a high volume of tasks.
  • Maintain office systems and processes.
  • Organize meetings, conferences, and special events as well as support the CEO with various projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative positions or similar roles supporting C-level executives, experience in education is a plus!
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and calendar management software.
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail to create a variety of communications.
  • Developed organizational and time management skills with success in task prioritization and multi-tasking efficiency.
  • Ability to adapt and change priorities in a changing environment.
  • Desire to contribute to a positive and professional work culture while exhibiting discretion and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and travel if needed. (Overtime Compensation is Provided)
  • An undergraduate degree in business administration, communications, or related field is a plus.

Compensation:
This exciting direct-hire opportunity
