Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Property Manager for a 120-unit multi-family property in Vancouver, WA. Owner- operated property with non-deferred maintenance.

As the Property Manager, you will report to the Regional Property Manager and supervise 1 Leasing Agent, and oversee 2 Maintenance Techs. You will be overseeing 4 key areas: Marketing & Leasing, Accounting & Financial Management, Tenant Management, and Maintenance & Curb Appeal


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise and mentor a Leasing Agent.
  • Stay updated on community offerings and available units.
  • Conduct property tours, showcasing amenities, local attractions, and floor plans.
  • Engage with prospects through lead management software, follow-ups, and appointments.
  • Facilitate the application process, including background checks and document collection.
  • Prepare and review leasing agreements with new residents.
  • Administer lease agreements, renewals, and legal notices.
  • Provide move-in orientations and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Handle inquiries via phone, email, and social media.
  • Manage office organization, paperwork, and communication with maintenance staff.
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of marketed units.
  • Conduct market surveys, assist with advertising, and manage marketing efforts, including social media.
  • Collaborate on annual budget forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate records of rent collection, expenses, and payments.
  • Ensure timely bill payments and prepare financial reports.
  • Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Ensure lease compliance and manage proper documentation.
  • Conduct annual inspections and prepare lease renewals.
  • Stay informed on housing laws and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct property walks to monitor safety and appearance.
  • Coordinate landscaping and aesthetic improvements.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and property entries.
  • Oversee pool maintenance and perform minor cleaning tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5+ years of multi-family property management experience required.
  • 3-5+ years of proven supervisory experience required.
  • Exceptional knowledge of WA State Landlord/Tenant Fair Housing Laws.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in property management software applications (e.g., Appfolio,Yardi)


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a brilliant and thriving team! The salary range for this role is between $60,000-$70,000 DOE. + Yearly “profit” bonus! Benefits include: PTO, Paid Holidays, and an exceptional reimbursement medical plan.
