Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Administrative Assistant for a nonprofit dedicated to promoting safe driving initiatives to encourage a better-informed community. This is a full-time, temporary to hire opportunity to directly support a mission-driven team in need on-site just North of Gladstone, OR.
In this role, the Nonprofit Administrative Assistant will support a small team to ensure efficient office function by answering phones, triaging emails, filing paperwork, and updating spreadsheets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to team members as requested
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Answer and direct phone calls, screen visitors, and maintain contact lists.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital.
- Ensure the office is functioning efficiently without delays
- Oversee various word documents and/or spreadsheets
- File paperwork and records while maintaining confidentiality
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and scanning.
- Coordinate projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated administrative experience in an office setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Word and Excel
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create documents as well as email correspondences
- Desire to work on a mission driven team dedicated to serving the community of Oregon and beyond
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This career opportunity provides 30 hours a week at a starting hourly pay of $23.00 with the ability to start immediately, plus medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
