Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a high-priority search for a Program Coordinator (Critical Response) for our client, a mission-driven organization committed to promoting economic justice for women and their families located in Los Angeles, CA. This position is open to remote candidates and is ready for immediate hire.  


SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator will manage and expand core programs that address emergency and time-sensitive needs for participants. This role supports the mission of improving economic justice and equity, focusing on assisting women and their families. The Coordinator will oversee existing programs, develop new strategies, and ensure the alignment of program delivery with broader advocacy goals.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management and Development:
  • Oversee and enhance the existing Rental Assistance and Clothing Assistance programs, increasing efficiency and impact.
  • Identify opportunities to expand program offerings to better serve community needs.
  • Collaborate with the thrift department to leverage resources for critical response programs.
  • Support the development of program curricula and materials with the program team.
  • Establish data management systems to track participant engagement and program outcomes.
  • Prepare performance and impact reports for fundraising efforts and organizational leadership.
Community Outreach and Engagement:
  • Lead outreach efforts to engage more participants, particularly within targeted communities.
  • Develop meaningful volunteer opportunities to support program goals.
  • Establish new community partnerships to expand collaborative programming across local groups.
Advocacy Integration:
  • Ensure that program design incorporates the organization's focus on economic justice.
  • Foster opportunities for participants to engage in advocacy efforts aligned with the organization’s mission.

 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least one year of experience in program coordination or related work with diverse groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This exciting opportunity offers an hourly pay rate of $25-$27 hourly, depending on experience.
