Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Aerospace Electronic Design Engineer for our client, a wonderful aerospace technology organization in Albuquerque, NM! In this role, you’ll utilize your Aerospace Electronics Design Engineering expertise to create new products used in vehicles and aircraft! This is a full time, direct hire, onsite role!

- Compensation range is $80-140k, depending on experience
What you will be doing:
- Hands on full cycle product development and systems engineering (concept, design, prototype, validation) of electronic systems in a rapid prototyping environment
- Design and engineering circuits, SOC (System on a Chip) integration on PCBs (printed circuit boards), digital and mixed signal interfaces.
- Embedded systems design with analog circuit design and microcontrollers
- Develop wireless and wired interfaces
- Utilize simulations tools and CAD for electronic design and development
- Verify that designs comply with military specifications as needed
What you will need:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience with electronic product design and development that meets military requirements
- Experience in simulation tools for rapid prototyping
- Experience with embedded systems and schematic design
- Experience with analog design (power, ACD, DAC, signal conditioning)
- Microprocessor programming experience
- Wired and wireless interface design experience is a plus!
